How do you hide your car from repossession?

What's the best way to prevent my car from getting repoed? I’ve recently fallen behind on payments. But I got a new job and should be able to make payments again soon.

Oh, man—I’m sorry to hear about your situation. However, hiding your car from repossession isn’t a good option.
Before you decide to tuck your car away, talk to your creditor. They may be willing to set up a payment plan with you if you’re upfront about the situation.
But if you’re still looking to hide your vehicle, then be aware that creditors can legally come onto your property and repossess your car, so long as they don’t do anything illegal (like cause damage or break into anything).
Hiding your vehicle won’t get you off the hook anyway. The creditor would likely file a lawsuit against you if they can’t find the car to take it back. And this process may even be pricer than repossession itself.
