How do you get stickers off a car window?

I recently bought a used car from a large family. While the car runs surprisingly well, the windows are littered with years and years of stickers from the little ones. These things seem to be fused to the glass—no amount of scraping has worked so far. What’s the best way to remove stickers from car windows?

To get stickers off a car window, you should try one (or more) of the following:
  • Goo Gone
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Window cleaner
For each of these, you’ll want to spray on the solution liberally and allow it to sit for about 3 to 5 minutes. Then, scrape the stickers with a razor or another sharp tool. Whatever glue is left behind, you’ll want to attack with a spray-and-scrape technique until the windows are clear.
If you used Goo Gone or rubbing alcohol, wash the windows thoroughly with soap, water, and paper towels. Then, finish with glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth.
