How do you get rid of car roaches?

I've noticed an infestation of roaches in my vehicle, and it's grossing me out. I've tried different sprays, but they don’t seem to be effective, and I’m not sure what to do. How do I get rid of car roaches?

Roach infestations are never fun! Luckily, though, you can get rid of them pretty easily. Here’s what to do:
  • Put poison bait traps under the seats of your car. These traps provide food and water for roaches, but it’s laced with a poison that they carry back to their nest, eliminating the entire colony.
  • Keep an eye out over the next two weeks or so. If you still see roaches after using poison bait traps, you may need to get your car professionally cleaned.
  • Clean the interior of your car. If you don’t see any roaches for a while, cleaning your car will remove any dead bugs, eggs, or other debris. That should take care of the problem!
If you do need to get your car professionally cleaned, check your
car insurance
or your
used car warranty
to see if you’re covered.
If you’re not covered for this type of damage under your current plan, you may want to review your current car insurance policy to make sure it is covered in the future. To do this easily, check out the
