How do you get paint off a car door?

I was painting a dollhouse for my son yesterday when I turned around too fast and knocked my paintbrush into my car. It’s not damaged, but the paint does not look good! How can I get the paint off of my car door?

That’s definitely frustrating—but you don’t need to cry over spilled paint! I’m happy to say that
removing the paint
easy, as long as you follow these steps:
  • Park the car in an area away from direct sunlight
  • Add a small amount of nail polish remover or acetone to your microfiber towel
  • Lightly rub the affected area in small circles, slowly increasing pressure as the remover is spread
  • With a dry part of the towel, or a new towel, wipe away excess remover and buff the area
  • If any paint is left over, repeat steps three and four until the area is clear
  • Wash off the acetone immediately, so as to keep from damaging your car’s paint
