How do you get insured to drive any car?

I just got a new job that’s going to require me to travel and rent cars frequently. I don’t own a car currently, but is there a type of insurance that would make sense for me? How could I get insurance to drive any car?

This is a smart question to ask! Not many people know about this, but
non-owner car insurance
is what you need! Non-owner insurance is
liability coverage
specifically for those who don’t own cars but rent or borrow them frequently.
If you were in an at-fault accident, your insurance would protect you from lawsuits and cover any injuries or property damage. Also included in some insurers’ versions of non-owner car insurance is:
  • Medical or personal injury protection
  • Uninsured or underinsured liability coverage
  • Rental car coverage
A non-owner policy is also a great way to save money on a rental. Since you have a policy, you won’t need to opt-in for liability insurance with the rental car company.
