So sorry about the stain, but I promise that you don’t need to cry over spilled grease! With some WD-40 and a good rag, you can take care of the grease easily. Here’s what to do:
  • Wipe up any blobs of grease with a paper towel, cloth, or rag.
  • Spray a small amount of WD-40 on the stain.
  • Let it sit for five to ten minutes so that it can dissolve the grease.
  • After the time has passed, blot the stain with a new cloth, rag, or paper towel.
  • Repeat as necessary until the stain is gone.
After that, you should be all set!
If you want to ensure that your car insurance is in as good condition as your carpet, take some time to review your policy while the WD-40 is setting.
