How do you get grease stains off a car’s carpet?
I noticed a grease stain on the floor in my backseat—I don’t know how it happened, but I want it gone! How do I get a grease stain out of my car’s carpet?

So sorry about the stain, but I promise that you don’t need to cry over spilled grease! With some WD-40 and a good rag, you can take care of the grease easily. Here’s what to do:
- Wipe up any blobs of grease with a paper towel, cloth, or rag.
- Spray a small amount of WD-40 on the stain.
- Let it sit for five to ten minutes so that it can dissolve the grease.
- After the time has passed, blot the stain with a new cloth, rag, or paper towel.
- Repeat as necessary until the stain is gone.
