Getting dog hair off your car seats can be a real pain! Luckily, there are a bunch of ways you can get rid of it.
Try these methods before you resort to shelling out a fortune to have your car detailed:
1. Vacuum cleaners might seem like a no-brainer, but with the right attachments, they can reach deep into your car’s seats and help lift the fur out. Household vacuum cleaners work better for this task than ordinary vacuum cleaners meant for cars.
2. Lint rollers are a must to keep in your car if you have a furry friend that sheds. These are very good at collecting surface hair and dander, keeping them from getting into any deep crevices.
3. Rubber gloves and water. Grab any household rubber gloves and wet them. Run your hands over the affected areas and watch the hair pile up. This will be very effective—especially on your seats—but may not be as effective on some types of dog hair.
