How do you get dog fur off of car seats?

I have a dog that likes to ride with me, and I usually don’t care about the fur all over the place. But my partner’s mother is coming to stay with us and she’s allergic. How can I clean up my seats?

Pet fur can be a little tricky to get out of car seats, but it isn’t too difficult. There are plenty of methods you can try when the high-power vacuums at the local car wash don’t cut it.
Try using:
  • Rubber gloves
  • Lint rollers
  • Velcro (check if you have velcro hair rollers you don’t care about)
  • Wire brush
  • Duct tape or other tape
Wet methods for stubborn fur include:
  • Mixing fabric softener (2 teaspoons) and water in a spray bottle and spraying down your seats. Use a paper towel to get the fur loose, then vacuum them up
  • Wetting rubber gloves and rubbing the seats
Another way to take care of your car is by making sure you have roadside assistance. With
