How do you get cat pee out of a baby’s car seat?

I went in the basement to dig out our car baby car seat for our new kid and found it covered in cat pee. What’s the best way to get cat pee out of the baby’s car seat?

Everyone loves their cats, but no one loves the little surprises they leave around the house. Luckily, you can clean cat pee out of the car seat with:
  • Vinegar,
  • hydrogen peroxide, or
  • dishwashing liquid.
While vinegar is the best option for old stains, you should use hydrogen peroxide or dish soap for new or small stains. Regardless of which cleaner you use, follow these steps to clean your seat:
  • Mix a solution of either vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, or dish soap and water.
  • Pour the solution into a spray bottle, and spray the stains.
  • Scrub the area thoroughly with a toothbrush or soft-bristle brush.
  • Rinse the area by dabbing it with a wet cloth.
  • Let it dry overnight.
