To get careless driving off your record, your best bet is to
hire a lawyer
specializing in traffic court
The process to get a charge like this expunged (aka removed) is different in every state, so having a knowledgeable lawyer on your side can help you out a lot.
In some states, careless driving will be automatically expunged after you have completed the penalties and a certain amount of time has passed, but this can take anywhere from three to 10 years.
To learn more about the laws in your state, contact your local courthouse.
