How do you get a new insurance card for your car?
How can I get a new insurance card? I can’t find my current card and am worried about getting pulled over without it.

Don’t worry, there are three ways to get a new insurance card for your car. You can try the following:
- By mail: Request a copy of your insurance card from your provider, and they can send it to you by mail.
- By email to print out: If you would rather print out a copy to get it immediately, you can ask your company to email you a copy of the card instead.
- Through a mobile app: Some companies will provide a digital copy of the insurance ID card by accessing the app.
You’re right to be worried, though! It is important to contact your insurer to send you a copy of your ID card as soon as possible, as it is illegal to drive without proof of insurance.
