How do you get a hardship license in Florida?

Is there a way for me to get a hardship license after I got a DUI in Florida? I know that what I did was wrong, but I’m having so much trouble getting around and finding work without having a car.

To get a hardship license after a DUI conviction in
Florida
, you’ll need to:
  1. Enroll in DUI school.
  2. Fill out an application after 30 to 90 days of your suspension have passed, depending on how high your BAC was at the time of your arrest.
  3. Visit the DHSMV Administrative Review Office with the proper paperwork proving your enrollment in DUI school.
  4. Fill out the proper paperwork and pay the filing fee.
If your application is approved, you’ll be granted a hardship license. However, not everyone will be approved, so you’ll need to look at the facts of your case or consult with an attorney to know for sure whether or not you’ll be able to get your license back.
If you do get your license, you’ll also have significantly higher insurance rates. The
