How do you fix the sun visor in a Toyota Camry?
The sun visor in my car keeps falling down whenever I put it up. It doesn’t seem like a big issue, so I’d rather not bring it to a mechanic. But I don’t know what to do! What’s the best way to fix the sun visor in my Toyota Camry?

While it may seem like a minor car component, your sun visor can pose a danger if it falls down unexpectedly while you’re driving. Luckily, it’s also an easy piece to repair.
Follow these steps to fix the sun visor in a Toyota Camry:
- Locate the joint of your visor that connects it to the car.
- Using a pry tool, remove the plate covering the joint.
- You should now see two screws.
- Unclip the other side of your visor so that it hangs.
- Tighten the screws with a Philips head screwdriver until the visor stops firmly wherever you position it.
- Be careful not to overtighten the screws, as this can further damage your visor.
- Snap the plate back into place.
