How do you fix pitted car paint?

I’ve owned my car for a while now. I’ve noticed some small imperfections and chips in the paint towards the front of the vehicle. Is there a way to fix pitted car paint?

It is not uncommon to see pitted car paint in areas that see more abuse and are prone to road damage, such as the front of your car. You can fix pitted car paint by repainting the affected areas.
Pitted paint is caused by small particles or debris hitting the vehicle. While repainting the area is the only real fix, you may temporarily cover the damage using a scratch filler or similar product. To find the right product, you should visit an auto shop and speak with someone knowledgeable.
