Can you fix cracks on the dashboard of a car? I live in Texas and the constant sunshine has cracked mine.

“Yes! You can fix those ugly cracks on your car dashboard. A little epoxy and paint will work wonders.
Here’s what to do:
  • Start by cleaning the area and trimming away the edges.
  • Fill the crack with epoxy and let it cure for an hour.
  • Sand evenly with 220 grit sandpaper and wipe away the excess.
  • Follow this with 500 grit sandpaper until it’s even.
  • Then, use a grain spray to get the proper texture.
  • Finally, paint the area.
Since Texas can be so
hot and sunny
, you may want to buy a sun visor to cover your windshield. It’ll help keep your car a bit cooler and protect your dash.
