How do you fix a flat car battery?
A neighbor knocked on my door early this morning to tell me that my car lights were on—probably all night. By the time I got out to the parking lot to investigate, my car battery had gone flat. How do you fix a flat car battery?

I’m sorry to hear that this happened! Realizing you left your car lights on is a real bummer. Luckily, there are three ways you can fix your flat battery:

- Adding distilled water to your battery can help if the electrolyte levels are low.
- Using a battery charger can provide power for a few hours and may fully charge it.
Although these solutions will help you get your car running for the moment, you should consider testing and replacing your battery if necessary.
