How do you fix a broken car handle?
How can I fix a broken interior car door handle? I was in a rush and broke my car door handle trying to get out of my car.

How annoying! Thankfully, the process is more than doable at home, as long as you take your time.
For supplies, you’ll need:
- A series of screwdrivers
- Your new handle
- Your phone or camera
Then, follow these steps:
- Before you start, take a picture as a reminder of what you want it to look like at the end.
- Start by removing theinner door panel. There should be a series of screws on the inside of the door to loosen it. Make sure to keep track of all your screws.
- Once the inner part of the handle is exposed, disconnect it from all the electrical connections.
- Attach the new handle to those connections. Test the handle to make sure it works
- Put the door back together.
- Review the photo to make sure it all looks correct.
