How do you find out who your car insurance is with?

I need to know the name of my insurance provider for some paperwork, and I can't find it. Where should I look?

The name of your insurance provider will be listed on your insurance card and other policy documents.
If you can’t find these documents, you will need to have them replaced right away. But in order to do that, you can find the name of your insurance provider by:
  • Searching your email inbox for
    common insurance terms
to see if anything about your policy comes up
  • Checking your bank statements or calling your bank to see where your insurance payments are going
  • Contacting the DMV
If you don’t remember your insurer’s name, you’ve probably had your policy for a while. Insurance prices change all the time. To make sure you’re still getting the best deal, download the

app! Jerry can find quotes from different insurers for you in a matter of minutes, so you won’t have to do any more searching.
