How do you find out what color your car is?

I have a few scratches on my car and plan to touch up the paint job this weekend on my own instead of taking it to a shop. How do I find out what the exact color of my car is so I can purchase the right car paint?

.
To find out what color your car is check the color code listed on the vehicle information number (VIN) sticker.
The sticker is usually located on the windshield where it meets the dashboard. If you can’t find it there, try looking on your car’s door jamb or near the engine. You can also check any documentation related to your vehicle to see if the VIN is listed there.
You’ll probably save a ton of money by touching up your car’s paint yourself. If you want to save money on car insurance too, try the
