What’s the best way to find out if I have gap insurance? I'm currently upside down on my car loan. I remember my dealership talking about gap insurance but I don't know if I have it on my car.

“To find out whether your car has gap insurance, look over your loan paperwork. The terms and conditions should list any information about gap insurance.
You can also check your bill of sale or contact your dealership directly. They will have a record if you purchased it.
If you didn’t purchase gap insurance, it’s not too late! Your lender or dealership may still allow you to add gap insurance to your vehicle. And if they don’t, many car insurance companies offer it.
