How can you clear your driving record in Illinois

Is there a way to clear my driving record in the state of Illinois? I want to get as many of my speeding tickets off of my record as possible so that it looks better when I apply for a driving job.

You can’t change your existing
driving record in Illinois
—and if you have any criminal offenses on your driving record, it’s unlikely that you would qualify for a driving job. The best course of action would be to fight the violation upfront in traffic court and try to get it lowered to a non-moving violation or thrown out entirely before you are convicted.
The state of
Illinois
does not offer any ways to remove offenses from your driving record after you’ve been found guilty without any other action—however, charges will expire over time, depending on their severity:
Keep in mind: Your Illinois driving record is tied to your
driver's license
, and major violations or multiple infractions on your record could lead to a
driver's license suspension
in Illinois.
