How do you erase codes on a Honda HomeLink?

Tomorrow, I pick up my new Honda Ridgeline Sport and trade in my old Honda CR-V. I want to reset my Honda HomeLink so it can’t access my gate or garage. What’s the best way to erase the codes in my Honda HomeLink?

! I’m sure you’re excited to pick it up and hit the road.
Fortunately, it’s easy toerase the codes on a Honda HomeLink when you follow these steps:
  1. Press and hold the two outside HomeLink buttons for about 10 seconds.
  2. Once the HomeLink indicator changes from orange to rapidly flashing green, the buttons have been reset, and the codes have been erased.
