How do you disable driving mode on Android?
I just bought a car that has Bluetooth for voice texting and hands-free calling. As a result, I want to disable driving mode on my Android. How can I disable driving mode to use Bluetooth on a Droid?

While driving mode is intended to limit distractions or the chance of getting a distracted driving ticket, a Bluetooth system is just as adequate. The good news is that you can disable driving mode on Android by using either the Verizon Messages+ app or the Google Maps app.
If you’re a Verizon customer, turn driving mode off with these simple steps:
- Open the Messages+ app on your phone
- Hit the menu button
- Uncheck the driving mode auto-reply button
If you’re not a Verizon customer, here’s how to disable driving mode using Google Maps:
- Open the Google Maps app
- Open your profile by pressing the avatar in the top right corner
- Press settings
- Scroll down and press navigation settings
- Tap Google Assistant settings
- Turn off driving mode by tapping the when navigating in Google Maps button
