How do you delete a phone from a Honda Civic?

My partner and I broke up a week ago, and their phone is still in my car’s Bluetooth system. For whatever reason, it bothers me seeing it there all the time. What’s the fastest way for me to delete a phone from my Honda Civic?

Breakups are hard, and those little reminders can be painful. Luckily, you can use these simple steps to delete a phone from your Honda Civic:
  • Step 1: Start your car but leave it parked.
  • Step 2: Press the phone button next to your home screen.
  • Step 3: A sign should pop up prompting you to add a new phone—press NO.
  • Step 4: Select Phone Setup on the subsequent screen and press Bluetooth Setup from there.
  • Step 5: In the Bluetooth menu, navigate to Delete Device and select the phone you’d like to remove.
Hopefully, these steps help you get rid of any unneeded numbers stored in your car’s Bluetooth settings. Honda’s HandsFreeLink can only hold up to six numbers anyway, so deleting old phones from the system will
