How do you delete a Bluetooth device from a Honda Accord 2017?

My mom passed down her Honda Accord 2017 to me recently when she upgraded, but my phone won’t automatically pair with it when I start the car. How do I remove her phone from the Bluetooth menu?

Best hand-me-down ever! Having Bluetooth in your car is an excellent way to personalize your driving experience and stay safer on the road thanks to hands-free functionalities. With the help of Bluetooth, you could be well on your way to scoring a

insurance policy, too.
None of that matters if your car doesn’t connect to your phone, though. Thankfully, the solution is pretty straightforward. Here’s how to delete an old Bluetooth device from a Honda Accord 2017:
  1. Press the Phone button on your Accord’s infotainment system.
  2. Turn the knob to scroll down to Phone setup, then press the knob to select the option.
  3. Scroll to find Bluetooth setup, then select it by pushing the knob again.
  4. Scroll down to select Delete device from the menu.
  5. From the list of devices, scroll to select which device you want to remove. Once you select it, you’ll see a confirmation notification pop up. Select “Yes” to remove the device.
Voilà! Now your Accord will feel like it’s yours—complete with that embarrassing Spotify playlist you made in high school blasting from the speakers.
