How do you delete a Bluetooth device from a Ford Transit?

I’m trying to make space for a new device in my Ford Transit’s Bluetooth system, but I can’t figure out how to delete old phones from the index! Can you help?

Most
Ford Transits
have space for up to six mobile devices at a time. If you need to clear out one or more of your paired devices to free up room for a new phone in your Ford’s SYNC system, here’s what to do:
  • First, navigate to your vehicle’s settings and select “Bluetooth.”
  • From the drop-down menu, select “View Devices.” This should take you to a screen where you can see all the devices currently connected to your vehicle.
  • Select the device you would like to delete from your Ford’s SYNC system
  • Press “Remove,” then press “Yes” to confirm
Once you confirm removing the selected device, it will be automatically deleted from your Transit’s SYNC system. And that’s it!
Keep in mind that these steps mainly apply to newer Transit models—but if you have an older version, the process may be slightly different. You can always check your owner’s manual for specific instructions regarding your vehicle’s model year!
