How do you deep clean leather car seats?
My leather’s getting old and dirty, but I want to make sure it stays healthy and clean for as long as possible. What’s the best way to deep clean your leather car seats from home?

Leather seats look and feel good, but they require constant care and attention to keep them in good shape. Regularly cleaning them is a key part of
maintaining a car
with leather seats. Follow these instructions to deep clean your leather car seats:- Step 1: Vacuum the seats and make sure you pick up any particles of dirt or crumbs that could scratch the seat.
- Step 2: Give the seats a cursory wipe down with a microfiber towel. Make sure to spray your cleaner on the towel not the seat.
- Step 3: Scrub the seats with a soft-bristled brush and a cleaner. Spray the cleaner directly on the seats and scrub it gently with the brush.
- Step 4: Wipe off the cleaner with a microfiber cloth. You should see the dirt coming off the seat and onto the cloth.
- Step 5: Repeat every few months to make sure it doesn’t get too dirty.
If you’re already deep cleaning your seats, keep them in top shape by conditioning them:
- Use a water-based conditioner.
- Test the conditioner in an inconspicuous spot in case it reacts poorly with your seats.
- Apply a little conditioner to your seats and massage it in with a microfiber cloth.
- Park in a cool spot to let the conditioner settle overnight.
- Buff your seats the next day with a microfiber cloth.
