The phone pairing process varies by model and model year, but here’s how you can generally connect your phone to your car Bluetooth in a newer Chevy:
- Put your Chevy in accessory mode (turn the car on without the engine)
- Tap the phone icon on the touchscreen
- Select “Connect Phone”
- Select “Add Phone”
- Pick up your phone and make sure Bluetooth is turned on
- On your phone, select “myChevrolet” under devices available to pair
- A passkey will show up on your phone and Chevy touchscreen—make sure they match
- Select “Ok” on your phone
- Select “Pair” on your Chevy home screen
- If successful, your phone will now appear as a connected device
- When you’re ready to make calls, either use voice commands or hit the phone icon and go to the “Contacts” or “Recents” tab
