How do you connect two phones to a car's Bluetooth?

Can you connect more than one phone to a car's Bluetooth? If so, how? My wife and I both drive the same car. Sometimes we even carpool to work. It's annoying to disconnect one phone in order to connect the other one.

“Most cars will allow more than one phone to connect via Bluetooth so long as both phones have Bluetooth enabled.
Here’s what to do:
  • Go to your car’s settings on the display.
  • Look for a button that says add a device or something similar.
  • Tap this button and connect each device, one at a time.
