How do you connect to the Bluetooth in a BMW 5 Series?
I’m renting a BMW 5 Series while I’m on business this weekend and I want to connect my phone to the car’s Bluetooth so I can make calls and listen to music. How can I connect my phone to a BMW via Bluetooth?

Bluetooth capabilities open up a whole world of hands-free possibilities that can make your drive more efficient and keep the roads safer. To connect to the Bluetooth in a BMW 5 Series, just follow these simple steps:
- Enable Bluetooth connection on your device.
- Select Communication from the iDrive menu, then Manage mobile devices, followed by Connect new device.
- The Bluetooth name for the BMW should appear on your phone as the name of your phone should appear on your BMW.
- Select either one to begin pairing.
