How do you connect to Bluetooth in a 2013 Dodge Dart?

I’m taking a company car, a 2013 Dodge Dart, to a conference four hours away next week. I figured I’d take it and not put all that mileage on my newer leased car. But could you tell me how to connect Bluetooth to a 2013 Dodge Dart?

Leases tend to be structured with limited mileage allowances and you’d be better off saving those miles for something more fun than a work conference. Let’s help you get your Bluetooth connected in the
Dodge Dart
so the drive isn’t boring:
  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone
  • Start up the car and check that the infotainment screen is on
  • Press the phone button, located at the bottom of the screen. It should be the second option from the right
  • Open your phone’s Bluetooth connections list and find “UConnect” from the available options
  • You’ll be prompted to enter a pin. By default this will be “0000” (zero, four times). If this doesn’t work, ask your supervisor or whoever manages the car to get the pin for you
  • You may need to confirm the pairing on your phone before Bluetooth is connected
The 2013 Dodge Dart is a bit older and doesn’t have Android Auto or Apple CarPlay functionality, but you can still listen to music by simply firing up Spotify (or your music streaming service of choice) and playing it through the phone. You can also make and answer calls despite not having access to Android Auto or CarPlay.
