How do you connect Bluetooth to a Jeep Wrangler 2014?
I recently bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. I thought it would be pretty similar to my old 2010 Wrangler, but I’m having trouble getting used to the technology in this one. How do I connect my phone to Bluetooth in this model?

We get it—every car and model has a different process for connecting devices via Bluetooth, so it can be tricky to figure out when you’re in an unfamiliar vehicle! Luckily, the process for the Wrangler is pretty simple. Here’s how to connect your phone’s Bluetooth to a Jeep Wrangler 2014:
- Make sure your Jeep is in park, then push the “menu” button from your UConnect infotainment system.
- From the NAV menu, you’ll select “System Setup,” then “Device Pairing.”
- Select OK on the pop-up window, then select “Pair” at the bottom of the screen.
- Create a four-digit security PIN when prompted, then select “Pair” again.
- Open your phone’s Bluetooth settings, making sure your device is set to “discoverable.”
- From your phone’s Bluetooth devices menu, select “Handsfree” or “UConnect” from the list.
- When prompted on your phone, enter the PIN code you created earlier.
- Your Jeep’s screen will ask you to select a priority number for the new device. You can select any number on the screen between one and seven.
- On the infotainment screen, you’ll be asked to input the new device’s name with a keyboard.
- After you input the name, select “Save.” After a few seconds, the process should be complete!
