How do you connect Bluetooth to a Ford Edge 2010?

I recently purchased a used 2010 Ford Edge and I know it has Bluetooth capabilities, but I’m not sure how to use it. Do you know how to connect to Bluetooth in a 2010 Ford Edge?

You’re lucky to have a 2010
Ford Edge
with Bluetooth, as not every 2010 Edge has this feature! The Bluetooth pairing process is relatively simple for the 2010 Ford Edge. Follow these simple steps to get your Bluetooth up and running:
  • Step one: Make sure your Edge is on and in “Park.”
  • Step two: Make sure the device you want to pair is on and in “Pairing Mode.”
  • Step three: Press the “Phone” button on your dashboard.
  • Step four: Select the “Connect a Phone” option once a “Phone” icon pops up on your infotainment screen.
  • Step five: Select the “Add a Phone” option, then choose the “Search for Devices” option.
  • Step six: Wait for the name of your device to pop up on the screen after your Edge has found it.
  • Step seven: Choose your device once you see it on the screen and follow the remaining prompts once you’ve selected your device.
And that’s all there is to it! Once your device connects to Bluetooth, you’ll be able to make and receive hands-free calls, stream music, and access other handy features safely.
If your Ford Edge doesn’t have Bluetooth compatibility standard, you can
add a Bluetooth adapter to it
so you can still enjoy hands-free calls and your favorite music without an aux cord.
