In most cases, connecting Bluetooth to your
Chevy Impala
is a pretty straightforward process! Just follow the steps below:- First, make sure your vehicle is in park. Then start the ignition.
- Press the icon shaped like a phone on your Impala’s touchscreen display menu. Selecting this button should pull up a screen that shows a list of connected Bluetooth devices, along with the option to add a new device.
- Next, go into your smartphone’s settings and make sure that Bluetooth is turned ON.
- Now it’s time to pair. Press the button on your display screen to add a new device. Depending on your model year, the button may be labeled as “Add Phone,” “Connect Device”, or simply as a “+” sign.
- Go back into your phone’s settings and choose your vehicle from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
- Confirm the PIN (if your vehicle gave you one), then press “Pair” on your display screen. Your smartphone may also require you to confirm pairing by pressing “OK.”
- Allow the devices to pair. This may take a couple of minutes. During this time, you may be prompted to allow your phone’s contact and messages to sync to your vehicle’s system, which you can allow or block depending on your preference.
And that’s it! Once the pairing process is complete, you’ll be able to stream your music, view text messages, make hands-free calls, and more in your Impala. If you’re thinking about upgrading your audio system beyond just Bluetooth connectivity, it may be worthwhile to invest in some more serious
