I have a Chevy Avalanche and it’s my first vehicle with Bluetooth capabilities *and* a touchscreen display. Needless to say, I have no idea how to start using it. How do you connect Bluetooth to a Chevy Avalanche?

Don’t worry, connecting Bluetooth to a
Chevy Avalanche
is fairly simple. You just need to pair your phone to connect. Here’s how to pair your device using the infotainment touchscreen:- Turn your vehicle on and put it in park or accessory mode
- Press the Phone icon on your vehicle’s touchscreen display
- You’ll see an option to add or connect a new phone, such as “Add Phone”, “Pair Device”, “Connect Phone”, or “+”. Press one of those options.
- Activate your phone’s Bluetooth and select your vehicle from the list of devices
- Confirm the code displayed on your phone matches the code displayed on the touchscreen
- Press the Pair button on your vehicle’s touchscreen
- Accept the pairing on your phone
You can also use voice recognition to connect to your Chevy Avalanche’s Bluetooth. Here’s how:
- Turn on your vehicle and put it in park
- Press the Push-to-Talk button
- Say “Pair Phone” after the tone
- Follow the instructions to pair your phone
If the infotainment screen shows that your phone is available to make and receive calls, congrats are in order! You’ve successfully connected to your Chevy Avalanche’s Bluetooth system.
