I’ve had my Yaris for a couple of years now, but I’ve never figured out the Bluetooth on it. How do you connect Bluetooth to a 2014 Toyota Yaris?

Luckily, it’s pretty easy to connect a Bluetooth device to a 2014
Toyota Yaris
once you know the steps involved.
Here’s how you can connect Bluetooth to a device on a 2014
Toyota Yaris
:
  • On the infotainment system, press the “Apps” button
  • Touch the setup gear icon
  • Press the Bluetooth option
  • On the Bluetooth setup screen, select “Add”
  • On your device, enter your Bluetooth settings and find your vehicle in the list of available connections
  • Select the vehicle to pair with, then confirm the PIN displayed matches the one displayed on the infotainment screen
  • Confirm to pair
Once you’ve paired your phone with your Yaris, it should automatically connect to the system as long as your Bluetooth is turned on. Your 2014 Yaris can remember up to four Bluetooth-enabled devices at once.
While some vehicles around this time and earlier might’ve only offered Bluetooth to make or receive hands-free calls and texts, the 2014 Yaris will also allow you to stream audio from your phone via Bluetooth. Of course, both are helpful when it comes to avoiding
distracted driving
.
You can refer to your audio system owner’s manual for more guidance.
Pairing your Yaris with a Bluetooth device is convenient, but it’s just as important to pair it with the right
car insurance
policy, so make sure that stays on your radar as well!
