I’m a new driver and just bought my first car: a used 2012 Honda CR-V! I’m pretty excited about it, but for some reason, I’m having trouble getting my phone to connect. How do you connect Bluetooth to a 2012 Honda CR-V?

, first make sure your smartphone’s Bluetooth option is set to ON, then follow these simple steps:- Push the PHONE button located on your center dashboard.
- Wait for your car to ask if you want to add a new device, and choose YES.
- Find your smartphone on the list of available devices, and select it.
- Wait for your car’s infotainment screen to display a PIN.
- Open the BLUETOOTH menu on your smartphone, and select OPTIONS.
- Find your 2012 Honda CR-V on the list, and give it a tap.
- Enter your PIN.
That’s all there is to it! You might need to wait a few seconds for the pairing process to complete, but you should now be able to make hands-free phone calls, use voice commands, and play music from your favorite streaming apps.
If you followed our instructions but your phone still doesn’t connect, the first thing you should do is try repeating the steps above. If that doesn’t work, you can troubleshoot by restarting your phone and checking for software updates. In most cases, Bluetooth connectivity issues are the result of a problem with the phone, rather than the car.
