Technology can be such a pain—but we can give you a hand! Before you can connect Bluetooth in your
Honda Accord
, go into the SETTINGS menu on your smartphone and make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
Once you’ve done that, follow these instructions:
  • Turn your Accord on, but keep it in PARK.
  • Tap the HOME button on your infotainment screen.
  • Touch PHONE and select YES when asked if you want to add a new phone.
  • Choose Add Bluetooth Device and select your phone from the list.
  • Wait for the PAIRING CODE to appear on your screen.
  • Open the Bluetooth menu on your phone, and select HandsFreeLink.
  • Make sure the code matches the one that appears on your car’s touchscreen, and press OK.
Your smartphone will now connect to your Accord via Bluetooth, allowing you to make and receive hands-free calls and texts. You’ll also be able to connect to the Apple CarPlay or Android Auto smartphone connectivity apps to control your phone’s music streaming and navigation applications right from your vehicle’s touchscreen.
