How do I reset the maintenance light in my Toyota? It's been on for like a month and it's driving me crazy.

When you’re maintaining your car regularly but the check maintenance alert remains on, that’s definitely frustrating!
Here’s what you need to do to clear the
maintenance light
on your Toyota Tundra:
  • Turn your key to the on position, and press the trip odometer knob until the display reads Trip A.
  • Then, turn your key to the off position, and press and hold the trip odometer knob.
  • While still holding the knob, turn the key back to the on position and wait for the system to reset.
  • When your odometer once again reads Trip A, release the knob. Then, turn your ignition off and back on.
Your light should be reset!
If you haven’t already, be sure to take your car to a mechanic to check if there’s actually a problem with your engine. You don’t want to end up stranded!
And if your car is older and things are starting to go wrong more frequently, it might be a good idea to get roadside assistance.
