How do you clean urine from your car’s upholstery?
This morning, my youngest child had an accident in the car. What’s the best way to remove urine from a car’s upholstery?

Oh no; I’m sure your kid is feeling a bit embarrassed and you want to clean up!
To start with, make sure you’ve wiped up as much urine as possible and open all the windows. To thoroughly clean the seat, you’ll need the following:
- Vinegar
- Dish soap
- Mixing container
- Two cloths
- Towel and/or paper towel
- Rubber gloves
Once you have the supplies gathered, follow these steps:
- Mix a couple of cups of water a tablespoon of dish soap and white vinegar in your mixing container.
- Once you have the mixture, put it into a spray bottle.
- Spray the urine. It’s important not to drench the seat; just dampen it.
- In a circular motion, rub the area with a cloth.
- After some circles, wipe off the residue with your second cloth.
- Repeat as necessary.
- When you’re satisfied, blot the area dry with a towel or a paper towel.
- From there, allow it to air dry for several hours so the seat has time to fully.
