How do you clean mold out of a car floor?

We were going through my grandmother’s car last night in hopes of being able to sell it and found mold. What do we do?

Mold can spread fast, so it’s time to act quick! To start, fill a (preferably new) spray bottle with white distilled vinegar. Bleach diluted in water can also work, but you should test it out on a hidden spot first to make sure you’re not going to ruin the colors.
Once you have your solution, spray it directly onto carpeting, seats, and any other mold-covered surface. Saturate it as thoroughly as you car and work the area with a scrub brush.
Finally, let the surfaces dry. Park the car in a garage if possible, so you can roll the windows down without risking damage from the elements. Either way, you need to allow air to circulate through the vehicle for an extended period.
While you’re assessing the damage, make sure your car insurance is equipped to handle the unexpected with a full-coverage policy. If you’re in the market for new car insurance but don’t want to break the bank, you can compare quotes with
