Puppies
are very cute, but accidents are common! You’re not the first (or last) person to have this happen, so there are already some tried and tested formulas to clean a dog’s pee up from a car seat. There are essentially two methods people turn to.
  • The first is mild soap and water. Dip a large cloth into a soapy mix with water, ring it out, and rub the area of the car where it happened. Not only will this clean the pee up, but it’ll also account for any dirt or other things left behind.
  • You can also try vinegar and water. Vinegar will neutralize the smell naturally. To use it dilute it, put one part vinegar and two parts water in a bucket, and like the soap, use a cloth to wipe down the area. You can also fill a spray bottle and apply it that way.
If those methods don’t work, try taking your car to a detailer. They’ll have professional-grade products that can help with odor and stain removal.
Since you’ll puppy will likely spend more time in your car, make sure you have the best coverage to protect you both. The
