“The best way to clean car seat straps is to use dish soap, warm water, and a clean cloth.
Kids can be sticky little creatures—nothing proves this more than how dirty their car seats get! To clean a car seat well, shake it out, vacuum crumbs and debris (if needed), and then wipe down dirty areas.
You may have to hit the extra sticky parts—like the straps—twice to get rid of all the gunk and buildup. Above all, never use harsh chemicals when cleaning car seat straps. This can damage the fibers of the straps, causing them to lose their strength.
