How do you clean a stain off a car seat?
What’s the best way for me to clean stains off my car seats? Between messes from my kids and pets, I’m spending a fortune on professional cleaners. I decided to start cleaning their messes on my own, but I’m having trouble with this one stain in particular.

Pets are messy and kids are even messier! Luckily, you’re not alone. Here is a tried and true method for cleaning stains off your car seats:
- Start by vacuuming your seats to get any dirt or crumbs out of your way.
- Next, either buy a cleaner or make one from two cups of water and one cup of vinegar. You can also add a few drops of essential oil to your cleaner if you don’t like the smell of vinegar.
- Thoroughly spray the stain with your cleaner.
- Blot the stain with a microfiber cloth.
- Continue spraying and scrubbing the stain until it disappears.
- Rinse away the cleaner by dabbing it with a damp cloth.
- Use a fresh towel to blot the area dry.
