To do this, unscrew the valve stem cap on your tire. Then, attach the tire pressure gauge, which will give you a pressure reading. Your Outlander should be at 35 PSI, so you’ll need to add air if your tires haven’t reached that pressure yet!
Another way to check the tire pressure in your Outlander is via the TPMS system built into your car. The TPMS sensor will cause a warning light to appear on your dashboard when one of your tires is running low on air. This will alert you to any potential problems and monitor your car’s tire pressure for you!
How often you should check your tire pressure depends on the season, the conditions you drive in, and how old your tires are, but you should at least check them once a month and definitely before any long drives.
