To check the tire pressure in a
Honda Civic
2016 model, you’ll need to press and hold the TPMS button on your car’s instrument panel. You can find this button to the left of the steering wheel. It should have an icon that looks like a flat tire with an exclamation point inside of it, just like the low tire pressure warning you see on your dash.
Press and hold the button until the warning light blinks twice. Then, your vehicle will display your current tire pressure as measured by the internal sensors. However, it’s also important to note that these sensors can easily be knocked or jostled during routine maintenance like an oil change, so you may find that this sensor is incorrect.
If this is the case, you’ll need to purchase a tire pressure gauge instead. If you do this, you’ll follow the directions provided for the tool you chose.
Winter months can cause issues for your tires, and it can make driving more unsafe as well. To save on your
