I want to visit Singapore to escape the snow that always hits my state every year, since I live in the Northwest. However, I’m still planning everything out, and want it to be memorable. I also want to be a conscientious traveler, so I’m trying to rent an electric car while I’m there. But I wanted to ask how to charge an electric car in Singapore. Is it easy?

Charging an electric car in Singapore isn’t rocket science. But if you’re looking to rent one while you’re over there, it’s a good idea to know what to expect. Singapore is a small country, and it’s currently looking to phase out gas-powered vehicles. SP Group is the country’s largest EV

and is very simple to use. One of the best things you could do if you’re going to rent an EV in Singapore is to download the SP app before you even leave the U.S. On SP Group’s website, you’ll even find a map available, which points out the many charging ports that the company has available within Singapore’s borders. If you’re really in a rush, they offer

, too. Shell even has EV charging locations in the country, and they operate similar to the ports we have here in America. You’ll have to become enrolled to get their services and will likely need a Shell Recharge card, which is a good idea to have if you’re traveling in an electric car through Singapore.
