The windshield wipers on my car are starting to skip across my windshield when I use them. I imagine that means it is time to replace them. With winter coming, I don’t want to be caught in the snow with bad wiper blades! How do you change the windshield wipers on a 2017 Kia Forte?

Kia Forte
in less than a minute—no need for any tools or special equipment.Here are the steps to get your new blades attached:
- Turn on your wipers, and then turn them off when the wipers are halfway up your windshield.
- Lift your wipers up and away from the windshield.
- Remove old wiper blades—the 2017KiaForte has a small hook attachment for the windshield wipers to connect with. Different wiper manufacturers use different style attachments for the hook. Look for a button or a latch to lift and slide off the old wiper blade.
- Take the new blade, and push the arm end through the hole in front of the adaptor.
- Then push the blade onto the arm hook. You will feel a click.
- Double-check that the wiper blades and adapters are locked onto the wiper arms.
- Lower wipers back down to their functional positions.
Make sure you test your wipers out to make sure they are correctly installed before you need to use them in bad weather.
