How do you change the oil filter on a 2015 Toyota Camry?

Performing basic maintenance on your car is a great way to save money! In order to replace an oil filter, however, you’ll need to secure your car on jack stands or ramps. If that sounds doable, here are the steps you’ll need to follow to change the oil filter on a 2015
Toyota Camry
:- Remove the metal drain cap on the filter.
- Use a 27-mm socket and a 3/8-inch ratchet to remove the old oil filter from its housing.
- Wipe down the housing with a rag or a paper towel.
- Replace the paper cartridge and the O-ring of your filter. Then, apply a small amount of oil to the O-ring.
- Tighten the new filter into place first with your hands, then with the 27-mm socket. Be careful not to over-tighten the filter.
- Replace the metal drain cap and tighten it in place with the 3/8-inch ratchet.
