What steps should I take to change the headlight bulb on my 2007 Toyota Yaris? I’d rather do it myself and save some money.

Burnt headlights can be frustrating since they lower visibility and can easily lead to a ticket! Luckily, you can follow these steps to changing the headlight bulb in your 2007 Toyota Yaris:
  • Turn off your car before you begin!
  • Purchase a 9003 bulb for your headlights.
  • Open your hood
and locate the spot where the bumper meets the headlights. You should see several screws.
  • Remove the screws carefully.
  • Then, undo the clips holding the bumper in place with a pry tool.
  • Remove the black cover on the back of the bumper to access the headlights.
  • Finally, unscrew the old bulb and disconnect it from your car.
  • Install the new headlight.
  • Reassemble the headlight by following these steps in reverse!
Taking care of small mechanical issues on your own is a great way to save money! While it may not seem like it at the moment, small repairs add up!
